Summary Week 1

Good evening, faithful followers of space-time stories! We are going to tell you everything that has happened so far. Are you ready?

As you well know, we start with Arthur Maddox, the protagonist of our story who receives a call from the police notifying the death of his parents. From that moment he begins his adventure.

He later attends their funeral in London, where he meets Walter, a mysterious man who claims to be very important to his father. Arthur decides to do an inventory of his belongings and discovers very revealing information in an envelope where the name of the Spider appears and a newspaper clipping and several papers from some mysterious murders. These were the victims of his great-grandfather, Peter Maddox in London, October 1932. He also finds a letter giving instructions on how to travel through time via a watch. At first he did not believe what he was seeing and therefore did not give it much importance.

Hours later, he finds himself at his father's desk. There he opens several drawers and finds a watch just like the one described in the letter and out of pure curiosity he decides to follow the instructions. He travels back in time 32 years before seeing his father and the man named Walter. He overhears an unfriendly conversation about his father and the danger he was running from the Spider by telling his wife everything he knew about it, Walter warns him that history can repeat itself as it did 60 years ago.

Arthur reviews over and over again the papers that he had found in the house and realizes that everything took place in 1932, thus coinciding with the 60 years that he mentioned in the past that mysterious man to his father.

Increasingly intrigued, he decides to approach the Scotland Yard headquarters. He finds the files of the murders that occurred in October 1932. The only detainee of the investigation being his great-grandfather who died shortly after, hanging himself in the cell awaiting trial. Without getting more information he decides to go to the British Library.

There he finds a rather revealing history book in which he mentions "the Spider".

The next day, at his house, two men go to see him saying that they are a notary and a lawyer that he had never seen and that they had come because of his parents' inheritance. Arthur discovers that they are not who they say they are, it was a trap. He manages to flee to the past, to 1932.

He lands on a London tube on October 23, 1932. He decides to head to his house. When he arrives, he decides to knock on the door and is met by his great-grandfather, Peter Maddox.

Arthur shows him the watch that has served to travel in time to Peter, while Peter recognizes him by the one he wears on his wrist, a family heirloom, from his own father that he himself had given to his son, and explains him who he is.
